I enter the forest at the end of the road and follow a small path leading into the woods. The asphalt turns into dirt and the only man made thing left around me is the trampled path under my feet. The trees wave around and their leaves rustle in the wind. The moonlight creates mysterious looking silhouettes all around me as it shines through the leaves and projects it onto the cliffs. As I walk down the small path, I gaze into the starry expanse. I brush the knee-tall fern leaves with my hands -- it would be great place for hide and seek. I feel like a child again and smile -- such innocent thoughts.
I see nice patch of grass and lay down there for a while. I close my eyes and breathe the fresh cold air around me. You can smell the moisture, the trees and the grass in the air. It's so soothing and crisp you could almost fall asleep -- like a sweet lullaby of the forest. I open my eyes and reach my hand out towards the night sky. It's dark enough to see each and every star clearly. I draw the constellations with my finger -- Orion, Cassiopeia... There's the one that looks like a big dipper -- don't remember the names anymore.
I rise up and look around me. I see the waving trees, the tall ferns and the moonlit cliffs and I think to myself -- Yeah, this is my special place. This is where my heart can rest.
