I'm just reminded about this day today 2 years ago :)
I flew to Ho Chi Minh City to pick up my friend at the airport, who travelled the whole way from New Zealand to Viet Nam. Then I took him to a coffee place on the 75th floor at Landmark 81 Building.
HCMC is the largest and the most populous city in Vietnam. This is also the most hustle and bustle place in the country. The street is always crowded with people, full of means of transport & loud annoying beep beep. Anyone, of course, when first visiting the city, will complain about it or feel annoying. ๐๐. However, those things have become special features.

Many skyscrapers are being constructed recently in this big city. The most impressive is Landmark 81. We are so proud that this 81-story building has been voted as the tallest building in Southeast Asia and the highest in Viet Nam. It was built in 2015 by the well-known local trading group ~Vincom.

The skyscraper Landmark 81 has become the icon of the city for years. They offer luxury hotels, modern apartments, shopping malls, entertainment centres, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. You can find everything here.

My friend and I visited the coffee shop Blank Loung which is located on the 75th & 76th floors of the building. We felt very excited like we were touching the sky. Incredible views. This is definitely a great place to enjoy the coffee and watch the view of the whole city, river and undulating buildings and blue sky from above.

We had a short visit. Finished a coffee and took photos, then we walked around the street and bought some stuff for our trip to Da Lat in the evening. A bit rush but an unforgettable experience. Would be amazing to come back here at night see the city when the lights are on. ๐๐
