I figured that I got time to share stuff, especially my time spent going around Dogtown in my new Arch Nazaré. There are even places I've gone to, enjoying the scenery, and then getting some action. Night City after the new update offered plenty to look around for.
Also a good place for me to show-off my new monitor, along with the images will be an HDR upload of it as well. I actually did a lot playing 3hrs of this game today. It just goes to show that there's always a time I can comeback to Night City and tear s#!t up. It is after all, one of the most lavishly build cities out brimming with the Cyberpunk aesthetics.
You know, I never thought at some point in the game's world, there would actually be a college. Like would people still go through undergrad programs in the future?
Starting off fresh from helping Estevez escape from Night City, I was in Heywood for a little while and noticed this sign. After some pondering, and then taking a cruise with my bike, I get a call from Mr. Hands about rescuing a famous BD celebrity being kidnapped.
So I put the pedal to the metal, and hit it to Dogtown. Do note though, some of the stunts I pulled by leaning with my bike took several tries, because the torque and handling of this bike is, a lot of work. The speed literally defied physics and had me bouncing off several stories high off the streets.
Location for "Dazed And Confused" quest, in a BD shop, soon as I found out what was going on, my bad feelings were right about what I'll find next
Ok, soon as I've crossed the checkpoint gate, and reached the Brainporium location, I started hearing someone demanding to be released in a voice sounding like a drag queen. And what I found was just not something I really needed. All that adrenaline rush in preparation for some action, only coming to fix a weird BD anomaly where a guy is stuck being the person he was simulating as.
One of the store owner asked me to convince the original Lina Malina into doing a video with him, with choice of waking the other guy up. This mission was experimental and it didn't feel like the experience had any meaningful ways of going. Well, least in a weird trip I've learned how BDs work.
It was dusk, and I did some cruising around, avoiding getting shot in a fight between Barghest and some of the local gangs. Dogtown is in absolute shambles, but in a fitting poetic way, it juxtaposes the skyscrapers and fancy buildings with the dilapidated image below.
I started fooling around taking pictures, even causing havoc myself with the gangs even. I was loaded with a sick Cyberdeck, so I made one guy's whole body go up in flames. Then took a pose with it too, boredom can make anyone do silly things.
And yeah, this is another one of those rides to steal. So I whacked the both of them and klep the ride. Another one for Reyes, and for this one had a time limit for bonus. I actually love this car, Shion M2 is an actual Japanese tuner car with crazy horsepower, you bet I drifted via WASD.
Cars and Night City are another two things that mesh well with pictures. I wish there was a way to customize (or change) the neon light, red would have looked better at the image below. But I digress, the shot overall was nice, maybe two or three more cars. I did allow more traffic on screen. And yes, I am aware this is a stolen car, but would have given eddies if the option was there.
Also, I am so sorry for the cursor getting in the pictures, didn't realize in the way, weird considering the UI hide option is there but not for the mouse. Anyhoo, got the job done, decided to take a break by calling up Panam for hangout in my Glen Apartment.
Unfortunately it doesn't get any different from the first hangout, kind of getting this feeling that CD Projekt Red could have introduced more options, but what's done is done. Least I can say that she appreciated the new apartment, gave me a nice confidence boost.
This was right after we watched TV, danced, cuddled, yes she was in the shower with me fully exposed. Afterwards I went to sleep and she joined me in bed. Talking about this is also getting weird.
Really kind of glad she came around, even though the illusion was dissipating quick, there are actual in-game perks I get from doing all this. My day almost got wrapped till I got a call from Estevez, calling to collect his Quadra Turbo R. The Tiger Claws showed up though soon as I did, and these guys kept coming till neighbor gangs started busting them up. I took the car and ran.
Man, thank you Estevez, I mean I have so much money to buy 12 more cars, but this was a great gift. I be pushing 160MPH on a clear road. 3hr adventure all went from super awkward shenanigans to getting back to the real good stuff.
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever finish this game, the side stuff and new expansion is keeping me busy in myriad of ways. Still taking the time to become accustomed to the game's revamped progression and leveling system. In a way, this game for me is immortalized in a unique way than any other.
I had plenty of opportunity to leave the guy in his dissociative identity state and maybe rake in more cash, no instead I got him out and pissed off a BD celebrity. All's well that ends well I guess. Least Johnny is proud I did the right thing, not like I need his approval as always.
