Hi Everyone,
When the government warns Australians don't panic, everyone panics. TP (toilet paper), rice, pasta was flying off the shelves with a few more items .... today is meat. faints. I can't keep up. It's like someone decided that they can't buy anything else they wanted and just started to haul on other food that may become useful. Coles has put in a limited of 2 packets of mince per transaction. I expect other big supermarkets to follow soon.
At Harris Farm
Today I chose to go to Aldi and Harris Farm and avoid the big supermarket chains .... the same thing pretty much with a few things to choose from. Honestly, you can't be picky. Beggars can't be choosers. You like chicken wings, well too bad, you are stuck with drumsticks. I even saw a lonely bag of chicken feet at Harris Farm nobody thought to pick up yet ... if the nails were cut, I would have bought it because I love chicken feet (no joke!).
I need to venture out tomorrow to get more meat. My fridge is empty except for the chicken drumsticks I could grab today at Aldi and some pork fillet at Harris Farm. Tough times ahead.
