Travelgirl Received The Steem Torch

Hi Everyone

Last night my fellow Aussie Steemit friend messaged me to let me know she is going to pass the Steem torch to me. Nearly midnight in Sydney I was thinking who can I pass it to. Without taking too long to think, I quickly messaged Hive account@livinguktaiwan.

I told her I’m flying out tomorrow and wasn’t sure what the Internet situation will be at our new destination and expect something from me shortly. Just as she said ok, I have already send the funds to her. I feel like there was a huge responsibility with community money so had to move it fast!

I have seen the torch go around but didn’t think it will end to up me so early on - I’m the 74th person! I am so glad to be part of this adventure of the torch and I hope it can continue on for a long time.

By the way, not sure how much people usually add onto the total but when I got it, it was over 500 Steem!! Now you can see why I decided to find someone quickly and pass it on!

Watch out if you are the next person who will be receiving the torch. I am literally writing this on the plane to our next destination. Hope you all enjoy your Easter break.
