Panama City Beach isn't in Panama, or Central America. It is on the northwest tip of Florida. North Florida, but it feels more like Miami than the South.
We drove from the cruise port in Cape Canaveral all the way up north and then west to Panama City Beach - a 10 hour drive! As soon as we entered the condo, we got our second wind, headed out for pizza and came back to check out the vacation apartment.
Tourist shops are nice, but the most fun was walking along the pristine white beach of Panama City Beach.
The colors of the buildings and beach resemble a resort frozen in time. Vacations are frozen in time.
