Steemit Ultra Marathon – Game two

There's carnage on the course! We lost two runners overnight. Both Hive account@kachee and Hive account@skymaiden failed to enter their numbers for this round and have DNFed.

I'm really sorry to see you both go (especially Hive account@skymaiden who is cooking my dinner right now and she'll be really annoyed with me when she finds out), but hopefully you'll be back for game three.

You sprint to get away, which makes up a bunch of distance.

Nothing happens. The little pixies on the branch by your head say - "See, we told you so.",

Comentary

Less than half a kilometer separates our first three runners as they head up towards the top of Wright's Hill. Everyone in this group is still looking strong, but there are more hills ahead and soon the fatigue in their legs will make itself known.

Meanwhile Hive account@cstrimel and Hive account@zapasx are not too far behind and also running strongly.

It's still anyone's race, and just like it Formula One racing, the race can be won or lost in the pits. At some point the runners will need to rest, and that's when things can change dramatically.
