A Bird's Eye View.
This is my entry for the #BoulderSunday photo challenge by
A sleek, white faced heron surveys his kingdom from his lofty position on Heron Heights in a land far, far away. He stands on boulders especially designed for his viewing pleasure, trying to decide in which direction to fly. Does he head off into civilization where food is plentiful but what is available has been discarded by the citizens of the city below? Or does he follow his instincts away from crowds, noise and pollution?
He catches a sea breeze to the east and his love of fresh seafood and the sound of contented gulls in the distance compel him to soar towards the ocean. The boulders will still be there tomorrow so he will return again to appreciate his ability to fly on a whim in any direction he chooses.
Oh......by the way, I took the photo of the heron but placed him in an entirely new location, courtesy of a little digital manipulation.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
