Wassup Steemit family.
I'm @CjTheOrator (twitter& instagram) , a podcaster and blogger but most
importantly an underground hip hop lover ! I invite any of you who share that love to come stay up to date with us as we review, discuss, or maybe even debate the best current music in the rap world and important occurrences within its culture.
I'm 21 and would definitely consider myself a very well versed consumer in both new and a lot of old hip hop, but too often I find myself in debates with people over 30 who are stiffly convinced that ALL if not most of the new rap is terrible… This is not the case. You have to dig just a little bit, but I’m using this growing platform to help navigate through the high influx of music and put a spotlight on the best of it.
My main objective is to get people engaged, so feel free to follow and comment letting us know some of the best artists you’ve been listening to. Im excited about bringing something new and different to the Steemit platform, & I can’t wait to see how big this community gets. Eventually, we’ll help hip hop/rap become a more popular topic. This will not only help bring awareness to the Steemit platform but also dope artists who definitely deserve a listen.
BTW... Although this will be mostly catered towards hip hop music, I will also be including other underground music as well like soul music, r&b, etc !
