Introduction
Mental health to me is a dynamic balance because its limits are variable, we can have a lot or little mental health at different times and events in our lives.
Mental health is the ability to relate to others in a personable way.
It is the ability to appreciate oneself and adapt to changes, even if they are for or against personal or collective well-being.
If we enjoy bodily health, mental health also has the ability to maintain in normal performance and development both our functions and our potentialities in constant relationship with other people, the physical illnesses suffered can affect mental health, poverty, misery as well They can weaken mental health, in the same way the abuse of drugs and psychotropics or psychopharmaceuticals.
Permanent or prolonged conflicts such as personal and social also become a risk for mental health, causing continuous stress that can gradually undermine the mental health of many people.
Do you think mental health problems have been sidelined due to the pandemic?
No, on the contrary. There is a lot of information on the internet about the emotional disorders that have caused both social isolation or quarantine, these emotional disorders can affect people's mental health, we can find suggestions on how to reinvent ourselves even in the face of this situation that practically all of us have had to live the inhabitants of the planet, the issue of mental health is very present due to the risks that exist with respect to confinement and social isolation.
Healthy mind healthy body, which is an alert, we must take care of our body to have a healthy mind, consequently exercise and food are important factors.
What are the links between gut health and particular mental health problems?
We care more about Macronutrients; proteins, carbohydrates and fats. On the other hand, the colon must be healthy so that it can absorb vitamins, especially those of the B complex, we pay little attention to essential micronutrients, at least when consuming a lot of vegetable oil, we consume excessively the essential micronutrient Omega 6 and little or nothing Omega 3, that can have a lot of health problems such as Diabetes, obesity and Arterial Hypertension.
I personally think that 5 precautions or good practices should be followed.
- Practice the content silence of everything around you, especially nature.
- Appreciate observing everything natural that you find in your environment, especially the silent passage of the clouds.
- Break the monotonous routine of your visual horizon, raise your eyes to the sky more frequently and I will force you to detail its colors and the majestic splendor of the forms that the clouds develop.
- Exercise at least three times a week for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Include more vegetables, greens and fruits in your diet.
Is suicide among young people more common these days and what can be done about it?
If we have the opportunity to help a young man who tried against his life, what to do? I think it is best to accompany him and communicate without making any judgment about him or his behavior by showing interest in the things he says, the ideal would be that we can eventually get him to seek specialized help without rushing or indicating it in the first place.
What herbal remedies can help manage mental health problems?
The internet can inform us about herbs that can be used more than for mental health for peace I do not agree with getting high or with plants and drugs, but there are herbs that can calm us, although we must learn to find the most reliable information.
I can mention some examples that I have consumed such as Herb Santa, Melissa, Mint and Cayenne.
Avoid stimulating drinks like coffee or sugary drinks in general.
Conclusion
Mental health is cultivated as well as bodily health with what we ingest and if what we ingest in our mind has to do with the thoughts we have and the things we hear, then we move away from negative thoughts and toxic communications which does not imply that we ignore the dangers and risks that we have to face, the main thing is to have an assertive attitude, reality is whatever we are, each individual has a personal reality that in some way is the sum of what we have done of all the relationships we have had and everything we have ingested into our body, what we have incorporated into our mind, let us always strive for the best that can be a good beginning both for us and for those around us.
