In July 2018, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Adityanath boasted that big firms are eager to invest in his state. He took it as a sign of improved law and order problem or reduction is crime rate. However, there are many who disagreed with him such as NGO and activists. The latter believed that the Dalits and Muslims live in fear increasingly.
How vulnerable are the Dalits? A 12 year old Dalit boy was murdered by other 5 boys for merely touching the balloons decorated at a Temple in Nadroi village, in Aligarh. The incident occurred on Janmashtami.
One of the five boys held the Dalit's arms, and two other boys held his legs, while the last two boys hit the Dalit boy in the stomach.
The Dalit boy complaint of pain in the stomach at home. The family took him to various doctors. At last, the boy was brought to the Aligarh district hospital at 11 am on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, where he died in less than two hours of his arrival to the hospital.
