My Little Girl Story
When I was a little girl, I lived happily, happier than I could be now because I was a happy little girl who played in her house, a house with a large garden, and had my loving parents with me. When I want to think about something beautiful, I undoubtedly think about my childhood, what it was like, and how I felt surrounded by my loved ones. I also remember how I would walk in the afternoons with my maternal grandparents who always gave me sweets, they gave me hard candies but told me to be careful when eating them, they also gave me chocolates of all kinds, I think my grandmother kept them in the pocket of her apron, it was an apron that she had sewn herself using fabrics that she bought, she liked to sew and knit and she tried many times to teach me such art that she did with her hands but I was never very good at crafts when I was a little girl, I also remember that she liked to cook fish soup and it was the only soup that I liked and she always prepared it for me when I was sick with a lot of onions although I never particularly liked onions I always ate it all. I remember when I was a little girl, next door to my house lived a family of Egyptian origin or some Araba country. I honestly don't remember exactly because it was a long time ago. But I remember the woman who had very beautiful hair. I also remember that the family had two twins a few years younger than me, maybe two years old. I played with them a lot, too. The truth is, I had a very beautiful childhood and they raised me very well to be a lady while also respecting my customs, which are my roots and my authenticity. Some of the games I liked to play most as a child were playing with dolls. I had three dolls that I had named after flowers because I thought they sounded very pretty, and they were flower fairies. I really miss playing with dolls. I see that girls don't play with dolls anymore because they have more modern things to play with, modern and technological things like phones and iPads. In my time, those things didn't exist, but we were happy, maybe even happier, because we had several things to do, like hide-and-seek, run, read, and play with other children. I hope to find many people who have had good experiences like mine and I know that childhoods are very different because there are all kinds of childhoods in this world, such as refugees and people who do not have the basic things to live. I would like that in the future all children have a beautiful childhood and a happy childhood of laughter and happy dreams for everyone together with their loved ones.
