Hi friends. I hope you all are having a great time.
I had an absolute blast bringing this beaded octopus to life! Inspired by the graceful and mysterious nature of deep-sea creatures, I used an array of pearl and colorful beads to create a dynamic, playful design full of movement and personality.
With a bold outline and a captivating mix of white, gold, pink, red, and black, each tentacle flows with a rhythm of color that adds both depth and energy to the piece. The eyes pop with a vivid red, giving the octopus a curious and almost mischievous look, while the circular placement of beads adds texture and life to the overall form.
Every single bead was thoughtfully placed by hand, making this not just a craft, but a joyful expression of creativity. There’s something magical and otherworldly in this piece, and I’m super excited to finally share it. I hope it sparks as much joy for you as it did for me while creating it!

Adding Facial Features
Final Assembly & Adjustments
I drew what I saw
Although Flying Squid are not truly capable of flight, their moniker comes from their ability to launch themselves from the water and glide above the surface for long distances before resubmerging. These aggressive predators shoot ink into the eyes of their prey to blind them before attacking with their lengthy tentacles.
