Hello there, everyone! How are you? I haven't posted anything here lately since I've been so busy doing my schoolwork. Once again, I am your tulip, serving you with another blog! 💝
For today's blog, I'm going to share with all of you my travel experience despite the high heat index here in the Philippines!
At first, we were having doubts if we would still continue going here since our periodic or final exams will be next week. I won't have enough time to review and finish all the activities given by our teachers. The deadline and the examination will also be on the same day next week, so it was really a struggle and a stress. My original plan was to finish everything before we finally went on a temporary vacation. Unfortunately, I didn't make it since there were too many activities that were sent. But don't worry, I have another plan in mind, and I'm sure I can do it.
We asked my mother's permission if we could go here, and luckily she said yes. We immediately planned what we were going to do and finally decided to pack our stuff for the trip. While packing, my dad kept reminding us that we shouldn't pack too much stuff since we're only going to be out for 4 days. He also reminds us that we need to be responsible for everything that we do. Before going to the terminal, my dad made sure that everything had been locked and the water and electricity had been turned off.
Sadly, our dog can't come with us since he's still not okay. We just brought our dog to my aunt's house in the meantime so that they could watch him and feed him while we're away.
At the terminal, my sister was kind of impatient because we're waiting for almost an hour and a half, but there's still no air conditioning bus that arrived. At 7pm, finally my Dad saw an aircon bus that we could ride.
We arrived in the city at approximately 10 p.m., and we decided to go to IT Park to eat at the restaurant that my mom is currently managing. The food there was so good, but my brother's stomach is not cooperating; he was having a sudden stomach ache, maybe because he's not used to traveling to far places. Our bodies were so tired, so my mom told us that we would spend the night at her boarding house.
Around 5 a.m., my dad woke us up because it was our time to go to the south terminal to ride another bus to Baclayan, Boljoon. My brother can't come with us because he still has an interview for his college scholarship (hoping he'll get that scholarship).
On the bus, I slept all the way to our destination since I only got 4 hours of sleep. The bus was still in Dalaguete when I woke up, so I just watched the houses that we were passing by. Around 9:30, we finally arrived at our destination.
(This pic was taken while we were still inside the bus)
Boljoon is my father's hometown; for those who don't know, Boljoon is the southern part of Visayas. This place is very special to us since it brought comfort and a sense of freedom. It's like having a temporary escape from reality, a stressful reality. Baclayan is currently having their fiesta, so I know I will get busy helping my grandma, aunties, and uncle prepare foods and stuff. Though, I know I still have to prioritize my studies here while having fun.
That's all for today, everyone! Stay tuned to my upcoming blogs,I will upload here the happenings as we celebrate the fiesta together! Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot to me!🤍
