Good evening. Greetings to all foodies. Today I have made a special dish known as Veg Keema.
Yes this does look like chicken keema but it is 100% Vegan. This is very popular in India as vegetarian's Non-veg. All the ingredients of this dish are very normal and can be found in any domestic kitchen. This is very healthy and has a lot of protein in it. Soya granules per serving has 10 gms of protein. This dish is best served with Indian style bread or Buns.
Let me tell you the process of this recipe step by step.
First start with the Ingredients:
- Tomato -3
- Onion - 1
- Ginger
- Garlic - 10 cloves
- Vegetable Oil - 3 Tbsp
- Green Chili - 1
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric Powder - Half Tbsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 Tbsp
- Red Chili Powder - 1 Tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 Tbsp
Now the detailed recipe.
Firstly, soak soya granules in water for ten minutes. Drain out water.
Now put Tomatoes, garlic and ginger in a grinder and make a puree. Also finely chop onions and put them into a vessel to fry.
Now the onions have caramelised.
Add tomato puree and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Now, is the time to add spices to the paste and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Smell the aroma now it says all. Time to add soaked granules.
Add a cup of water and let it cook for 5 minutes.
And the yummy dish it ready to serve.
