Watching Al-Nassr defeat Damac 4-1 to officially become champions gave me so much joy, especially seeing Ronaldo deliver when it really mattered the most. And not just ordinary goals but the man scored a stunning brace like he still has something to prove to the world. That hunger, that mentality, that drive is exactly why a lot of us will always respect him.
Football is beautiful because it constantly tests greatness. People mocked Ronaldo over the last five years, for not winning trophies, questioned his move to Saudi Arabia, and acted like his career was already over. But champions never stop fighting. Ronaldo kept pushing, kept scoring, and kept believing. Today, that persistence has finally paid off and he does it in a more convincing way.
What makes this title even more sweeter is the competition behind it. Al-Hilal really pushed Al-Nassr all the way until the final day, but Ronaldo and his teammates refused to crack under pressure even though I started having a second thought at some point. Finishing two points clear at the top makes the victory feel even more deserved.
I’m also happy for players like Sadio Mane, Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman, who massively stepped up in such an important game. But once again, Ronaldo reminded everyone why he remains one of the best in world of football. At 41, he is still leading from the front, still scoring decisive goals, and still inspiring millions around the world.
