I know £100 million actually sounds like a crazy amount of money in today’s football market, especially for a player coming from a club fighting to survive relegation. But if there is one thing I can say honestly about Jarrod Bowen, it is that quality always speaks for itself.

I have watched Bowen closely for years now, and he keeps proving why so many top clubs admire him every season. He is not just another winger who depends only on pace but he plays with purpose, intelligence, aggression, and confidence. He is the type of player that gives defenders problems from the first minute to the last. His movement, finishing, work rate, and direct style are qualities every top team wants in attack.
Seeing clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United interested in him honestly does not surprise me at all. Bowen has developed into a leader at West Ham, and wearing the captain’s armband has shown another side of his game. He takes responsibility when things get difficult, and those are the kinds of players that usually succeed at the biggest clubs.
As a Chelsea fan, I would genuinely love to see him at Stamford Bridge. Even though some people may disagree with me, but I honestly feel Bowen would improve Chelsea’s attack immediately. For me, he is more direct, more attacking-minded, and more technical in dangerous areas than Pedro Neto. Neto is a good player, no doubt, but Bowen brings more end product and consistency. He knows how to create moments that change games.
What I admire most about Bowen is his mentality. He never hides in matches. Even when West Ham struggle, he still fights, presses, creates chances, and pushes the team forward. Those are the players supporters connect with because they play with heart and determination.
The £100 million fee may still scare clubs away, and I completely understand why. Even though no team will pay such price and I know west ham are just don't want him to go a cheap because he is currently their best player. Football prices today are unbelievable. I believe that any club buying him are not just buying a winger but they are buying leadership, experience, goals, creativity, and a player capable of making a real difference at the highest level.
For me, Jarrod Bowen is worth admiring because he plays football with courage and personality, and that is something every great team needs and I will be very much happy to see him at Stamford bridge.
