Today is Sunday morning and after taking our walk it is hungry, so we approach one of the many areas of Pintxos (tapas) that we have in my city.
Pintxos are something very special.
When you meet a friend you ask:
-A Pintxos? And you will always have the same answer:
-Well of course.
Here you have the atmosphere that we can find on a Sunday morning.
It is a space full of small bars and large Pintxos counters.
How difficult it is to choose
But today we are going to look at this king of the gildas.
Gildas are chillies with olives and anchovies.
Gilda's name comes from that great movie we all know and the reason is:
She is thin pretty and spicy like Gilda herself.
The chillies are packed in glass jars with vinegar and allowed to cure.
Anchovies
They leave a few months in salted salt only, after those months they are cleaned and dull with olive oil the result is a very special salt and sea flavor.
But here it has gone further and combine them with everything.
So friends come and choose the one you like best.
And let's enjoy these Pintxos.
Now that everyone has their favorite we accompany it with a good Txakoli, the wine of my land or the beverage that you like the most.
We sit at a table and enjoy the company, catching up with friends or just enjoying your partner.
Remember that Sundays are for resting and giving those little vices to the body.
