Poured then formed. All the Silver came from only electronics waste - basically switches from the walls of your house
This was my first attempt at making a solid silver shuriken(throwing star) which was basically made from all electronics silver contacts which were melted into an ingot(98% pure silver - tested with spectrograph) and then cut with a jigsaw to its current shape. Some further forming was done with a grinder and a light polish was applied in order to keep that "poured look". The finished "prototype" product in the pictures below.
Dimensions - 3 3/4 inches and just under 3 oz's of silver
A jigsaw is not recommend as a lot of silver was lost(1/4oz) and the shuriken isnt' geometrically perfect. Next one will be done with a band saw...
