It was indeed an eventful week for all Bluzelle fans around the world. All talk was about the March to Mainnet and the date was fixed for 8th August, 2020.
We are breaking the mainnet launch into two phases:
Phase 1: Soft Mainnet (8 Aug) - #Staking will be available
Phase 2: Production Mainnet (8 Sep)
Lots of promotions were set in place for the D-Day.
August 4th
A new partnership has been talked about and Bluzelle fans were asked to make a guess to win rewards with three (3) correct answers to get 100 $BLZ each.
They finally let the cat out of the bag with a wonderful partnership with Matic Network.
Matic network, the leading layer 2 scaling platform for Ethereum will be partnering with Bluzelle to enable developers store their data in a decentralized manner. This way, developers can ensure that their data is always available, scalable and tamper-proof. With high transaction numbers achieving up to 7200 TPS, developers are choosing to use Matic Network and this will cause an increase in the demand for the decentralised data storage from Matic developers.
To buttress the importance of this deal, Matic COO Sandeep Nailwal stated,"developers are building decentralized apps but most of their technology is still reliant on centralised solutions. This is not ideal as those systems can go down without you being able to do anything. In July, CloudFlame went down, making thousands of apps inaccessible. Bluzelle enables our developers to get closer to a complete Web3 product."
Bluzelle is a decentralized data network that enables decentralized apps as well as tokenized apps to manage data in a very safe, scalable and tamper-proof manner. It is powered by Cosmos and the BFT technology Tendermint is designed to be able to communicate and exchange data between decentralized applications on any blockchain. Bluzelle would play a very important role in the promotion and adoption of Web 3.0.

August 6
Just as we were still basking in the euphoria of the Matic partnership, Bluzelle rolled out another top partnership. This time with top 40 CMC, Elrond.
Elrond is a CMC top 40 project and the leading blockchain platform that would help take care of the scalability issue as well as usability through a novel sharding mechanism. The aim of this partnership is to provide applications built on the Elrond mainnet with a fully decentralized database layer. The first focus will be an integration between the two decentralized strata so as to provide Elrond dApps with a tamper-proof data network that has greater privacy scalability and availability than the normal solutions.
Elrond CEO, Benjamin Mincu had this to say, “This is a critical milestone for organizations looking to leverage Elrond’s high throughput & inexpensive mainnet for financial applications involving blockchain. A decentralized database layer is indispensable for such scenarios. We’re excited about this important step we’re taking with Bluzelle.”
Bluzelle CEO, Pavel Bains added, “Integrating with Elrond’s high-speed network will create all the prerequisites needed for developers looking to build highly scalable and fully decentralized applications. We’re eager to explore the potential new scenarios enabled by their Smart Accounts.”

August 8th
As we woke up to the sunrise of August 8, we were brought a bittersweet news about the March to Mainnet. The bad news was that the match was shifted to a later date (not revealed) but the good part was that it was for the good of all. Considering the fact that Bluzelle is the first to use Cosmos' latest version, they had to take extra security precautions with them.
