Near Sofia there is a very beautiful road called "Iskarskoe defile" - sort of like a promenade. There you go and admire the views from the car window, of course there is where to stop and take a look separately: lakes, waterfalls, eco paths, monasteries and very interesting rock formations. Type Ritlita, which stand on the bank of the Iskar River, opposite the village of Lutybrod.
Scientists believe that the Ritlite formed a hundred and twenty million years ago as a result of washing away, because then everything was covered with water.
These strange rocks are very unusual looking from afar, as they act like someone's giant broken bones from the fluffy green. In the winter, I did not look at them - I do not know how they look at this time of year.
In the height of the Ritlita reach 80 meters, in thickness - 3-7 meters, in length - 300-400 meters.
These strange rocks are part of the Vratsa Balkan and are recognized as a natural landmark of national importance. By the way, they are limestone and through them there are trains: there are special holes at the bottom - it is difficult to name the tunnels because of the thickness of the rocks.
On the opposite shore is the village of Lutybrod, there is a place for a picnic and even a children's playground, from there we admired them.
Thank you for your time and attention.
