As suggested by , in this post, this is my #ten contest:
I have visited many countries, sometimes very briefly.
Be the first to guess the one I have never visited and the reason why it is so, and you will get the SBDs from this post.
This is the list, with the names of the countries in French:
- Chine
- Pérou
- Yougoslavie
- Portugal
- Sénégal
- Paraguay
- Liban
- Autriche
- Australie
- Chypre
Good luck!
- I'll go with Paraguay because it's not coastal.
Indeed, Paraguay is the country out of the 10 listed that I have never visited. When I was in the French Navy, I visited these countries in South America: Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru. But, as Paraguay has no access to the sea, I have never visited Paraguay.
I went to a ski camp in Austria during the Christmas break in 1964.
I visited Yugoslavia (Split) in 1969, while I was in the French Naval Academy.
I visited Senegal several times, Portugal in 1970, and Cyprus and Lebanon in 1985, with the French Navy.
I went to Australia in 2000 for the Olympic games in Sydney.
And I went to China to visit my younger sister who was living in Beijing then.
Thanks to all the participants!
