Mark 11:24
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
It's the prayer of faith that heals the sick. It's not the prayer that heals the sick - it's the prayer of FAITH that heals the sick. That's why the Lord says, "Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them."
Many people pray for sick folk but don't really believe that God will heal them. When the sick are not healed, God gets the blame and people say that He doesn't answer prayer.
God answers the fervent, effectual prayer of a righteous man. That's why if you have any doubt in your heart whether that person will be healed, rather pray a prayer that the pain will go, that peace will remain with him, but don't pray that he will be healed because you don't believe it.
You have heard people say, "I'll believe it when I see it." That's not faith. That's walking according to one's sight. What we should be saying is, "We see it because we believe it." In other words, we pray the prayer of faith and see the person as he is going to be, rather than he is.
The prayer of faith always honors God - and God will always honor that prayer. Always!
