'Window and Red Flower'

It would only be an ordinary shabby window if it wasn't for the flower. It would only be an ordinary red flower if it wasn't for the shabby window. This is usually how things fall into their places and complement each other in the grander scheme. People do, too. However, in all of the arts, parts harmonically creating the whole is essential and very needed. Well, in all life matters, just as well.

The composition consists of several squares, following each other and ending with the smallest one. In that one, we can see an organic form, as well as a reflection of another. Even the drapes are covered by shapes with curved lines. All of this creates a contrast to everything outside of the smallest square.

The colours are very balanced together. The point of interest, where the attention goes to, is definitely the red. It serves as a strong accent. There is just about enough red to neatly balance the greens and blues in the smallest square, as well as in the overall scheme.

This is a true display of parts fitting together really well. Even a simple motif can lead to a satisfying result.
