'A Lizard'
A baby lizard walked too close to me to be normal. No fear in it at all. It was a strange experience. These guys usually run for their lives when it comes to the proximity of human. This one walked up to me and took his time to pose for a photo. I even had enough time to put on my macro lens. It is how this photo was made.
It is a moody, half dark photo, even though it was taken during the day. The shadows play their part. The colours are very important, too. The entire composition is made of purple, blue and cyan with maybe a touch of green at the top left. The only warm spot is the lizard's head - where the yellow colour is. All the colours are soft, unobtrusive, almost invisible, what makes the colour scheme more pleasant, more pleasing to the eye.
Notice the 'S' line made by lizard's body and the position of his front leg to the right. I am not sure if its eye is supposed to be like this. I am no expert on lizards but it does look odd.
