Where do I begin? Well on September 22nd I was attacked by a rather large and muscular dude while stopped in traffic. In fear for my life I showed my firearm to get the dude to not beat the hell out of me. He admitted to attacking me when the police (which I called) arrived but the Illinois State Police concealed evidence, lied and arrested me for Aggravated Assault while letting the dude that attacked me go scott free. I am currently out on bond and trying to raise the $3500 for my lawyer before I go back to court on October 15th. You can read more about this here!
Now I have been driving a semi truck over-the-road for 15 years and this is the first time I have ever been attacked or had to defend myself. Then this morning something else weird happened.
While traveling through Downtown Effingham, IL on IL-33 East I hit my first ever deer....and my second.....and my third ALL AT THE SAME DAMN TIME. Yeah I hit 3 deer at the same time. Two with the front of my truck and one with the passenger side of my trailer. Fortunately I have a moose guard on the front of my truck and had managed to slow to about 20 mph before impact so there was no damage.....except to my shorts which are now PERMANENTLY STAINED!
