대전의 자부심인 성심당은 올해(2026년)로 창립 70주년을 맞이했습니다.
성심당은 6.25 전쟁 피난민이었던 창업주 임길순·한순덕 부부가 1956년 대전역 앞 노점에서 찐빵 장사를 시작하며 처음 문을 열었습니다.
성심당의 시작인 밀가루 두 포대는 1956년 대전 대흥동 성당에서 피난민이었던 창업주 故 임길순 씨에게 구호물자로 제공한 것입니다
1956년 대전에서 시작해 나눔의 철학을 지켜온 성심당은 튀김소보로와 압도적인 비주얼의 딸기시루 등으로 전국의 입맛을 사로잡은 대전의 명물이자 자부심입니다.
