Hello friends!
Last time I wrote that I was studying online at the mehendi school. I already know how to mix henna paste and also twist the cones with which I paint. I also went through some basic drawing elements.
My practice is that I draw a pattern on paper with a pencil, then I repeat it on paper with henna. After that, I remember the pattern and I can draw it on the body.
My dear sister agreed for me to practice drawing body art on her. She wanted me to draw her a picture on the lower back.
have little practice drawing on models. I only painted on my arms and legs. But I need to get as much practice on models as possible. My friends are already in line and waiting. But I train on the closest relatives :)
I used a white gel pen to sketch the drawing. Real mehendi masters paint without it. But I am still afraid to make mistakes.
I made a sketch while standing. But when my sister lay down, the drawing was transformed. But I decided not to fix anything, and I did the right thing.
I started with the central element, the flower. This rule is.
Next, I started drawing elements along the sides of the picture. The hardest part is the long, winding lines. They should be symmetrical and flowing.
I drew the pattern I was planning, it was not harmonious. I thought that some elements were missing. And I started to draw them on the go.
Here I've added elements with meshes on the sides of the main flower.
My drawing is ready, but it is necessary to carry out some manipulations so that it stays on the body as long as possible. It was also bright.
I wait for all the henna to dry. And then I glue the pattern with a medical bandage, which should last on the body for about 6-8 hours. After that, it can be removed. The bandage will be removed along with the dried henna particles. A bright orange pattern will appear on the body. The pattern will darken after 24 hours and turn brown. The pattern will last about 7-14 days on the skin. And this is a great alternative to tattoo.
After 12 hours
After 48 hours. Cheers
