Hi there, fellow Steemians!
My name is... not important, so I'll just go by Victor Rain. I think it's quite a cool, fancy-sounding pen name. I've heard of Steemit from a friend of mine who told me in the most melodic way possible: "Dude, this is the future!"
There is no way I can not agree with him since this platform seems to include everything that I've been thinking of like some future-proof workplace-ish contraption of reality.
As it is customary, since this is my first post on this lovely platform, I'd like to share with the community my likes, dislikes, dreams... so on and so forth. It's what we all know as a bio or an introduction.
I mainly love literature. All sorts of literature. From Shakespeare and Marlowe (because they were medieval gods) to Wu Cheng-en (the guy who wrote Journey to the West, Monkey-King's Wu-Kong story from the Chinese folklore) to Frank Herbert (Dune) and Asimov. As reading seems to be my main hobby I found it only natural to set as my life's sole goal to become a fantasy/SF writer.
I'm currently studying English Language and Literature at a local university and in my spare time I act as a symbol of procrastination, literally only writing, reading, playing video games or hanging out with friends.
I also love psychoanalysis. You know that field of humanist sciences that is concerned with nothing more but the way our minds work? Yep, that's the one. It's a field invented by a certain Sigmund Freud and developed by his skilled pupil, Carl Jung.
So far, I think I covered pretty much everything that is supposed to be written in a bio. I'd also mention that I'm 23 years old, as tall and slender as an electricity pole, I wear glasses because I'm blind as a bat (I'm the real Batman) and I like ramen and pasta.
I hope I'll meet a lot of interesting figures here and also, why not be honest, make a hefty amount of money for myself so that I can indulge in the pleasures of life ( I mean, who doesn't want this? )
I hope you all have a great day and I'll start posting articles as soon as my exams are over. I'm currently caught up in learning, so I have little to no time.
The king is dead, long live the king!
