Maybe this was Mexico. Indeed it was. But, I was living on an eco village. The Lemurian Embassy. We worked in the jungle. Planting gardens and building palapas day in and day out.
My self appointed task was the official lumberjack of the village. Being Canadian. I know how to swing an axe, and sharpen a blade. I'm also an ex meat cutter. And I can cook like a banshee. If banshees could cook.
So, one day we wanted to have a party. We went and rented a tuk tuk from town that had a big stereo. We paid them to come out and pound some loud music while we took some liquid lsd someone brought down from the California mountains.
This was an amazing night!
I'd do it all over again. And the same.
In my cup, I used to make the guanabajito. Guyana Bana juice, with your standard mojito fixings. Lots of limes. Some ice which was a rare delicacy for us. And lots of good liquor. Rum or tequila is good. And don't forget mulled fresh mint leaves. So good!
