Remember when crypto cards went to hell with the Wavecrest incident? Remember something that was absolutely unaffected? If you remember Monaco, you remember right. Centra is also unaffected. But they are a late comer and their team isn't as strong as Monaco. Why am I saying this? Well first of all I've been around Monaco since the day ti went up over 400% in a day. When I first came across the project it was the crypto/blockchain project that gave me the best first impressions.
It's still giving me the best impressions. The main reason Monaco didn't face any troubles was because their commitment to 100% compliance everywhere they go. Remember that the CEO Kris Marszalek went from $0 to $100m in revenue twice in the South East Asian region as a serial entrepreneur. IMO SEA is the single best breeding ground for cryptos. Why? Remember South Korea. You've got that it East Asia. Japan is already very tech savvy but their economy is stagnant. SEA has the right mix of some incredible growth, openness to technology and lots and lots of heads. SEA has Singapore and Hong Kong. Monaco is located in Bahnhofstrasse 21, 6300 Zug, Switzerland which is one of the best places for cryptos on the planet and keep a good presence in EU.
Monaco is a VISA Program Manager. So they have no roadblocks except for VISA itself when it comes to issuing cards. You can use the card at 40 million Visa accepting location. They also allow free ATM withdrawals and LoungeKey™ Airport Lounge Access. You can read more about benefits here: https://mona.co/cards
Please note that you don't have to spend a penny to get your card. Compare that with everybody else. How much are you paying annually for the cards you are using? Not only that Monaco is planning to get into credit business too. So not just TenX, Centra, Metal etc, but also SALT (A really great project) is an eventual target of Monaco.
Go to https://www.nerdwallet.com and review what the other credit/debit cards are doing. I'll tell you that barely anything has a resemblance of style or novelty. Monaco is Bold. Also check some other card unboxing videos to see how they compare. Even the Midnight Blue which comes with no monthly or annual fees and free shipping looks like this:
You can be proud waving the cheap card and look like a millionaire in front of people who are lagging behind the curve. TenX just had their cards shutdown by VISA due to non-compliance and now they have to issue new cards and despite being located in Singapore they are trying to spread TenX is EU out of all places. I get that it's easier than Mainland China but seriously? Low population, heavy regulation + bureaucracy + an economy that is getting worse......
Monaco’s vision is to make millions of people (who don’t even know about crypto) ditch their current credit cards for a Monaco Card. Their battle is with bankers and they are going slow and steady at it since day 1. This isn't some idea they picked up. They chose the perfect region to focus and they are making cryptos spendable and eventually crypto based credits; All the while looking pretty amazing!
