One of the best director in the USA is Stanley Kubrick. His movie called ''A Clockwork Orange'' is most known movie that directed by him. Film showing us the society that we live in. We are living in a broken society because of broken rules and goverments. We watch the film eyes of Alex. He is main character in the film. He telling us him story. Alex has his own gang. This gang has predisposition to violence. They are breaking rules, beating people and rape them. One day they beat a writer. They raped his wife. After than, gang had some problems. Somebody in the gang wanted to be leader. So Alex went to the prison because of him. Actual story began after it.
Government want to make a law. This law serves to make criminals great again ! Alex will be subject for this project. If the law be successful, Alex will be released. But it's gonna be hard test for Alex. Alex will be tied a chair. There will be a big screen front of Alex. Sciencemans show him some images from WWII. And there is a music beethoven ninth symphony. Because Beethoven is the only good thing in Alex's heart. At the end of this experiment, Alex was a ''normal'' person. Than they relase the Alex to society again. One day Alex beat up from his ex friends. These friends become police officers. This time polices beat up Alex. He run away from his friends. Hide in writer's house. Do you remember this writer ? Yes Alex beat him and rape his wife. First, writer doesn't recognize him. Than he recognize him and he torturing him. Alex can not stand it and commits suicide. At the end, he dies and experiment fails.
This events shows us the society. Many violent person grows up in families or societys. They are not born like this. Take example for Alex. He was good after the experiment. But this time, society do the same thing on Alex. Which means everyone is Alex. Bad events make the people become violent. We see everyday jerks and bullys like Alex. But when we did think of ''why they are become like this ?'' We never think about the reasons. We just hate them. And when we take the power, we will do the same thing on them. So than why we are different ? Of course director show many things other than this. But i think this most he most interesting point in the film. With all that, the director shows us the results of the community rules. Marginal people have no place in society. Alex and his friends drink milk and drugs. They dress ''weird.'' Even if they not committed a crime, they were still excluded from society. So this is what happens if you exculuded some one or some group.
As a result, this movie is one of my favorites. I love Stanley Kubrick and his all movies. But this film has a special place for me. I watch it so many times. I can tell a lot of thing about the film. But if this post going bigger, no one read it right ? So this is a cult film and most of people watched this movie. If you didn't watch, open your browser and watch it immediately ! Trust me, you will be both fun and learn from director's view. But there is one film that better than this movie. And this movie telling us almost same thing. But i will not give you name. I will examine this film next posts. Enjoy the film !
