Ein wichtiger Punkt , den ich selbst leider immer wieder missachte, ist das Einplanen von genügend Vorlaufzeit.
Wenn du nicht genau weißt, welche Stelle du aufsuchen willst, wie die Möglichkeiten vor Ort sind, Motive im Vordergrund, wo steht die Sonne von deinem Punkt aus, wie ist der Wasserstand dort am See/ am Meer - sind deine geplanten Motive evtl. vom Wasser verschluckt, hat es überhaupt Motive oder ist die Stelle die du aussuchst eher kahl, sodaß dir ein Vordergrund fehlt - ganz wichtig für das gewisse etwas bei Landschaftsfotografie, dazu gibt es den Spruch "Vordergrund macht Bild gesund" . All das sollte man evtl miteinplanen. Bei mir ist es leider allzuoft so, dass ich gerade noch 5-10 min habe, bis z. B. die Sonne an meinem Shootingplatz untergeht und wenn du dich dann für die falsche Lokation entschieden hast, fehlt dir evtl. das gewisse Etwas.
Hier hab ich versucht das Bild zu retten ... die Farben und die Stimmung sind schön aber es fehlt doch etwas im Vordergrund
An important point, which I regrettably disregard again and again, is the planning of sufficient lead time.

You might want to consider all this. Unfortunately, it is al too often the case with me that I have just 5-10 minutes until the sun goes down at my shooting place and if you have decided for the wrong location then you may be missing something.
Here I tried to save the picture... the colours and the mood are nice but there is something missing in the foreground.

Ein weiterer wichtiger Punkt, gehe ich, wenn die Sonne weg ist oder wann? Ich sehe immer wieder Leute, gerade im Sommer, die stehen an beliebten Plätzen am Bodensee zum Sonnenuntergang mit ihrer Kamera, machen Bilder während die Sonne untergeht und sobald sie weg ist, verschwinden die Leute. Dabei beginnt meistens das ganze Spektakel erst dann. Die meiste Farbenpracht ereignet sich in der Regel zwischen 2-3 Minuten nach Sonnenuntergang bis 20, 30 Minuten danach. Manchmal gibt es auch später noch Farbtupfer, die plötzlich erscheinen, teils im Norden oder Osten. Es lohnt sich also manchmal, den Blick am Horizont auf und ab schweifen zu lassen. Und manchmal kommt es sogar vor, dass, eine Stunde nach Sonnenuntergang, Farben am Himmel zu sehen sind, die man nicht für möglich gehalten hat. Siehe erstes Bild.
Immer ganz wichtig , ein Stativ. Hat man eines zur Verfügung, lassen sich auch weit nach Sonnenuntergang tolle Bilder schießen.

Zurück zum Anfangs erwähnten, wäre ich einigermaßen zeitig vor Ort gewesen, hätte ich die Stelle mit folgendem Bild evtl. noch kurz nach Sonnenuntergang erreicht und hätte ein wesentlich interessanteres Motiv gehabt, welches durch das Abendrot noch besser zur Geltung gekommen wäre.

Ebenfals weit nach Sonnenuntergang kann man zum Beispiel auch noch, wie in diesem Fall mit dem Mond zusätzlich, tolle Bilder machen, in dem man die Bewegung der Wolken sichtbar macht. Mit Langzeitbelichtungen von 2 min aufwärts. Dies kommt am effektivsten , wenn sich deutliche Wolkestrukturen am Himmel abzeichnen und diese auch möglichst schnell in Bewegung sind. hat man eine recht homogene, einheitliche Wolkendecke, wird es lange nicht so interessant.
Für alle diejenigen, die mehr oder weniger starke Graufilter ihr eigen nennen, die sichtbaren Wolkenbewegungen im Bild lassen sich natürlich auch, mit Filter wesentlich früher, bei starkem Filter sogar vor Sonnenuntergang, realisieren.
Ein Stativ oder Bohnensack ist hierbei natürlich essentiel.
