Seems like low turnout this week for the #got16s contest. I'm sure people are just busy or preparing for the #rapchallenge. Steemit rappers love to compete.
I have seen a lot of people not just rappers come to the platform and leave after just a few weeks. I don't get that. If you are an artist this has to be the best place for you to showcase your talents. Even if you use this to blog and share on other social media it seems like a good idea.
Right???
Even the #rapchallenge which is the premier rap contest on Steemit has had weeks with low turnout. Now it seems to have an entirely new batch of rappers competing since the time I started entering the contest.
I get that some people feel discouraged when they first get on Steemit and don't see results immediately. If you feel that way you have the wrong mindset. My goal on here is to share what I am already sharing on other social media with other creative people. The upside is that I own my content and have a chance to make a few extra dollars in crypto.
#GOT16s was created to have something extra going on and to keep skills sharp. Think of it as a sparing session. Hopefully we see some submissions tomorrow and get this thing moving.
Shout out to Hive account@kenentertainment for helping spread the word. If you know any artists that are new to Steemit comment their user tags.
