Hi Hi everyone, welcome back to the "Battle n Giveaway" post. Where in this post I will share battles that I think are unique (SHARE YOUR BATTLE) and also hold giveaways that I have done before (UPVOTE BUDGET GIVEAWAY).

This time I will share my battle against an opponent who utilizes a combination of 2 different abilities. Let's move on to the main discussion...

The first part of this post will be about SHARE YOUR BATTLE, whether it's CARD FOCUS or RULESET FOCUS or just a battle that I feel is interesting enough to share. After that, then we head to the GIVEAWAY section. There are changes to the GIVEAWAYS that are different from usual (you can see in full after the SHARE YOUR BATTLE section) And Giveaways will be held 1~2 times a week

MARTYR

MARTYR is a new ability that was introduced at the end of January 2023 along with the appearance of SoulBound Reward Card. This ability will activate when the owner is defeated. Where when he is defeated, an additional 1 point to all STATS will be given to the surrounding monsters.

The best placement of monsters with this ability is in positions other than first and last. Because in these positions, the additional STATS will be given to 2 monsters (the position after And before the monster that has MARTYR) compared to when placing the monster that has MARTYR in the first or last position (it will only add STATS to the monster that is in the position after OR before the monster that has MARTYR).

RESURRECT

As the name implies, RESSURECT is an ability to "revive" previously defeated monsters. But unfortunately, this ability is only able to restore monsters with 1 remaining Health point (not with Full HP). Therefore, Ressurect must be supported by other abilities (HEAL, TANK HEAL, TRIAGE, etc.) or certain conditions so that the revived monster can survive longer in the battle arena.

What happens when these 2 abilities are combined?

Lets Start the Battles

This time it's not me who will use these 2 abilities, but the opponent who uses them. MARTYR is owned by Venari Marksrat while RESURRECT is owned by Adelade Brightwing (lv2). The monster that "benefits" from defeating Venari Marksrat is Void Dragon whose base already has 5 points of SPEED.

Since we are in SILENCE SUMMONER RULESET, summoners do not give any additional abilities to monsters. The only additional ability comes from Baakjira (who is on my side) which adds 1 Health Point to all my monsters and reduces 1 SPEED point to all opponent's monsters.

The attack by Deeplurker managed to defeat Venari Marksrat. However, this gave an advantage to Void Dragon who got an additional 1 point in all of its STATS (attack points, Health Points, Speed). Then Adelade Brightwing revived Venari Marksrat.

Igor Darkspear attacked and made Venari Marksrat lose for the second time in 1 round. An additional 1 point to all STATS was earned by Void Dragon.

Even with a total magic attack of 5 points, the opponent has not been able to defeat a level 3 Baakjira equipped with HEAL ability.

What is the Upvote Budget that you mentioned earlier?

Upvote Budget (or maybe there's a better name) is slightly different (perhaps) GIVEAWAYS from the others. The reason for naming Upvote Budget is because all prizes destined for GIVEAWAYS come from the total Upvotes received in each post (more precisely the Author Reward section)

How these giveaways work

• Every GIVEAWAYS post uses Hive account@reward.app (so the reward for posting will be HBD and HIVE)

  • back to 50% HBD 50%HP

• The Total Upvote Value affects the limit of cards that can be selected

• Winners can choose any card they want (As long as there is sufficient DEC)

• The maximum number of winners for giveaways is 3 people (3 draws) or until the DEC is not sufficient to purchase a card only 1 user.

• The remaining DEC will be added to the GIVEAWAYS the next week next post.

The number of prizes from giveaway posts that will be converted into DEC is 20% (or 40% of the total Author Reward) decreased to 5% (or 10% of the total Author Reward)
