The Struggle is Real
Few people understand this quite as well as a chronic pain patient. I hold down a full-time work-from-home job. Sometimes I wonder how. Today was one of those times.
Yesterday's migraine began while I prepared dinner. My son took over cooking the meal. Today the migraine began before my 11:15 am lunch.
I contemplated using FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act). In the end, I powered through the last four and a half hours of work.
I feel that I could have done better, but I did the best that I could.

I didn't experience any migraines since the one I brought with me two Saturdays ago. Florida was good to me.
I'm happy that tomorrow's appointment to receive Botox injections is a go-ahead, despite the delay from my specialty pharmacy. My doctor's office didn't settle with the postponement of receiving the medication to delay my treatment.
I bear in mind, too, thankfully, that God spared me from death during the pedestrian/car accident that resulted in a head injury and began my migraine journey. I'm living on grace, thank God for being present.
