What Are The Two Skills Necessary For Success On Steemit?
As I begin to get closer and closer to reaching that 1000 follower milestone, I can't help looking back on my last eight months on this platform. When I do, I feel happy and proud of what I've been able to accomplish in this relatively short amount of time, but also angry at the fact that I let two months of inactivity fly by, which I could've spent fueling up for our ride to the moon that will surely occur in the next few months!
There is no question in my mind that Steemit is the only place you need to be at this moment in time, and every Steem powered up is an investment in a future of financial freedom! That is why I am extremely motivated to utilize as much of this opportunity as possible.
The two skills I knew I needed to master to make this happen was that of adaptability and preparation! There is no question that life happens, but we can't let what is happening around us impact our growth on Steemit!
After I returned from my two month hiatus I made a pledge to post every day, which at the time wasn't a hard goal to maintain, but as I began to move further into the new year and the responsibilities at my job started to get more cumbersome, I knew I had to learn to adapt or I would get left behind in the current gold rush, that is Steemit and crypto currencies!
Here are a few ways I managed to stay consistent!
- I created a series that I could easily blog or vlog about everyday! I got this idea from the seven day black and white challenge that was going around Steemit for a while. I decided to create the 90 day workout challenge, where I pledged to go to the gym and document my progress for 90 day!
- I set aside some time everyday where I could blog! Currently that time is during my lunch hour!
- I started to get up 1-2 hours earlier to prep or create content for my blog!
- I followed authors that I look up to that always spread a positive message, which motivated me to keep grinding!
The most important tip out of those four would be waking up earlier! I found that attacking blogging with a fresh mind and without any environmental stressors, were the periods where I created my best content! Now, I wouldn't recommend posting your content at an earlier time, but having even a few ideas written down will be unbelievably beneficial for your creative process!
Well my lunch hour is coming to a close, so I have to end it here, but hopefully this post was helpful in someway! Let me know in the comments how you manage to remain consistent on Steemit! This has been a message from your friendly neighborhood #spiderblogger!
