Hello fellow Steemians,
I've had an account and been posting consistently for a month and a half now. I have been avoiding publishing my "Introduce Yourself" post in order to get a more concrete of idea of how I am going to use, and how I would like to present myself on, this platform. I think I have it figured out now. :)
There are many ideas, experiences, and influences that make me who I am, but these things below are the ones I am choosing to express here on Steemit;
I'm a 24 year old man.
I live in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lived in Texas my whole life prior to New Orleans.
Professional Audio Engineer/FOH Mix Engineer.
Avid and Passionate record collector and trader. House and Techno, Disco, Electro, Funk, Soul, Boogie, Jazz.
Passionate about technology and its' application toward self-empowerment, self-actualization, and de-centralization.
I've always found it difficult to talk about myself. What do I focus on? What do these people want to hear? How much is too much, am I making them uncomfortable? So I'll try and keep it brief.
My passion for Steemit is based on one simple thing; with time and dedication, I can create something that compensates me for doing something that would be much more difficult to monetize elsewhere. In essence, I can make money doing something I have done for free, my whole life; seeking out great music and sharing it with anyone who would listen. Now that Steemit can compensate me for doing something I am passionate about, I can spend more time and energy doing higher quality work in that vein.
I just want to share and learn about music. That's really it. Making it, listening to it, selling it, buying it, distributing it, whatever. If you're in any way interested or connected to that, I'm wanting to connect with you. For now, I am writing a few daily curation series' and post other things as I am inspired;
Jack Traxxx: A series in which I post my favorite House/Deep House/Acid House tracks and records.

Live Set Favorites: I post live performance videos, mostly DJ mixes, but sometimes instrumentation or hardware sets.
