an update from the art fair

paintings sold:

i dont try to make my work psychedelic but it becomes that in the way i layer patterns. this one is called Sound System because it kind of looks like a cat scan of a brain receiving sound waves from the environment.

this one is called Foreground For a Friend because Hive account@davidramis_us said this one needed a foreground but maybe he still thinks it does...

here is another painting that sold during the fair, Ephemera. it's 37" x 56" oil on canvas. people asked me what kind of ideas inform the work and i told them this is a picture of a psychic tuning their vibrational frequency to connect with someone in the future or the past...

the most epic sale from Hive account@theotherartfair was this painting 48" x 72" called Guardian. i had children coming up to me saying that they liked this painting. one of the best comments was from a colorblind guy who really appreciated me use of a full range of colors. i told people this piece is about the emergence of AI and it's effect on our culture. i kind of see a cybernetic astral praying mantis figure in it. the universe works in mysterious ways. i had a lot of fun this year at the fair i met a bunch of cool artists and collectors and totally refueled my desire to keep painting! thanks to everyone involved. so many synchronicities happened at the fair it was really cool
