Hola chicos y especialmente chicas de Hive. Hoy vengo a hablar sobre un tema que es, aún, un poco controversial en nuestra sociedad: los tatuajes. Yo diría que más que los tatuajes, el hecho de que las mujeres deban hacerse o no uno de estos. Les contaré lo que pienso de este tema y les mostraré mis tatuajes y el significado que tienen para mí.
Bueno, para empezar creo que es obvio que estoy a favor de los tatuajes, tanto en hombres como mujeres. Creo que son una bonita forma de auto expresión y que no se deberían juzgar a las personas que los tengan, ya que tener tatujes no te limita de ser una buena persona o profesional.
Es verdad que en años anteriores los tatuajes se veían de mala forma, pues era algo que solo hacían los convictos. Sobre todo, para la generación de nuestros abuelos esto es algo feo e impensable. El mundo ha ido cambiando y avanzando y ya hoy en día se tiene una concepción más favorable de los tatuajes. Aún así, hay personas que no ven bien que una mujer se tatúe su cuerpo, pues piensan que es algo que solo los hombres pueden hacer.
En mi opinión, esto tiene que ver con el gusto de cada persona y es una decisión de cada cual que hacer con su cuerpo. En cuanto a las chicas, he visto varias con el cuerpo bastante tatuado y otras con tatuajes más pequeños y simples, creo que todas se ven bonitas y como dije, es una cuestión de gusto.

En mi caso, no soy de tener tantos tatujes, solo tengo 4 por el momento, puede que en el futuro me tatúe alguno más, aún no lo sé. Me gustan los tatuajes pequeños y que tengan un significado para mí, no me tatuaría solo porque se ve bonito, pues la belleza es algo temporal, por eso siempre me tomo bastante tiempo en decidir si hacerme un tatuaje o no, pues es algo que tendré conmigo toda mi vida y el significado debe ser muy importante.
Mis tatuajes
#1 True Love
El primer tatuaje que me hice fue algo para celebrar el amor que sentía por mi novio, el cuál es actualmente mi esposo, y fue un dibujo que yo misma diseñé. Es el símbolo del infinito, es una parte tiene una llave con la inicial de mi esposo, y en la otra parte hay un candado, y abajo dice "True Love". Está en la parte superior derecha de mi espalda.
Este tatuaje es muy especial para mí, pues simboliza el amor que siento por él y mi creencia de que va a ser un amor para toda la vida, un amor muy bonito y verdadero y que solo él tiene la llave de mi corazón. Puede ser un poco cursi, pero es lo que sentía en ese momento y aún lo siento.
#2 Friends
Mi segundo tatuaje es un homenaje a la serie de televisión Friends, ya que es mi show preferido, crecí viéndolo, me enseñó a amar la comedia americana y también aprendí bastante inglés con esos seis amigos, que aún me hacen reír como si lo estuviera viendo por primera vez. Mi relación con ese show es muy especial, cuando estoy desanimada me pongo a verlo y me levanta el ánimo, por eso decidí hacerme este tatuaje. Me lo hice en mi muñeca.
#3 Mariposa
Mi tercer tatuje es una mariposa, aparte de ser un tatuaje muy bonito tiene un bello significado, pues una mariposa significa transformación, belleza y libertad. Para mí significa la lucha y los obstáculos que nos pone la vida, y como nos adaptamos y salimos victoriosos, además de transformarnos en mejores personas. También la libertad para tomar nuestras propias decisiones. Está en la parte de atrás de mi brazo izquierdo.
#4 Brazalete de pie
Mi cuarto tatuaje y último hasta este momento, es algo muy bonito pero que recoje varios elementos importantes para mí. Es como si fuera un brazalete para el pie, y entre los elementos que tiene están una libélula, que simboliza la esperanza; una corona que simboliza la independencia y seguridad en mi misma, un corazón ya que el amor es la fuerza más grande de este mundo; una vara de pescar en honor s mi papá que es pescador; el gorro de Peter Pan, ya que es uno de mis libros preferidos; un diamante que representa la fortaleza; una nota musical ya que la música es muy importante en mi vida y una pluma, que aparte de representar la libertad venía muy bonito con el diseño.

Tatuaje en pareja
Por supuesto que me encantaría hacerme un tatuaje con mi esposo, sería algo muy bonito que podríamos compartir, pero mi esposo nunca ha querido hacerlo, pues él está de acuerdo con mis tatuajes pero no es algo que quiere para él. Claramente yo respeto su opinión y nunca lo obligaría a hacerlo, pero si me gustaría que en un futuro cambiara de opinión, como sea lo amo mucho, con o sin tatuajes.
Tatuaje de mejores amigas
Esto es algo que mi mejor amiga y yo hemos estado hablando por un tiempo, a ambas nos gustan los tatuajes y tenemos planes de hacernos uno juntas para conmemorar nuestra amistad. Todavía estamos poniéndonos de acuerdo en el diseño, pero espero que pronto podamos lograr esta meta.

Hi guys and especially girls from Hive. Today I come to talk about a topic that is, still, a bit controversial in our society: tattoos. I would say that more than tattoos, the fact that women should or should not get one of these. I'll tell you what I think about this topic and I'll show you my tattoos and the meaning they have for me.
Well, to begin with I think it's obvious that I'm in favor of tattoos, both for men and women. I think they are a nice form of self-expression and that people who have them should not be judged, since having tattoos does not limit you from being a good person or professional.
It is true that in previous years tattoos were seen in a bad light, as it was something that only convicts did. Especially for our grandparents' generation this is something ugly and unthinkable. The world has been changing and advancing and nowadays there is a more favorable conception of tattoos. Even so, there are people who do not see well that a woman tattoos her body, because they think it is something that only men can do.
In my opinion, this has to do with the taste of each person and it is a decision of each one what to do with their body. As for the girls, I've seen several with quite tattooed bodies and others with smaller and simpler tattoos, I think they all look pretty and as I said, it's a matter of taste.

In my case, I don't have so many tattoos, I only have 4 at the moment, maybe in the future I will tattoo some more, I don't know yet. I like small tattoos and that have a meaning for me, I would not get a tattoo just because it looks pretty, because beauty is something temporary, so I always take a long time to decide whether to get a tattoo or not, because it is something that I will have with me all my life and the meaning must be very important.
My tattoos
#1 True Love
The first tattoo I got was something to celebrate the love I felt for my boyfriend, who is now my husband, and it was a drawing I designed myself. It's the infinity symbol, one part has a key with my husband's initial on it, and on the other part is a padlock, and below it says "True Love". It's on the upper right side of my back.
This tattoo is very special to me, as it symbolizes the love I feel for him and my belief that it is going to be a lifelong love, a very beautiful and true love and that only he has the key to my heart. It may be a little cheesy, but it's what I felt at the time and I still feel it.
#2 Friends
My second tattoo is a tribute to the TV series Friends, since it's my favorite show, I grew up watching it, it taught me to love American comedy and I also learned quite a lot of English with those six friends, who still make me laugh as if I was watching it for the first time. My relationship with that show is very special, when I'm discouraged I watch it and it lifts my spirits, that's why I decided to get this tattoo. I got it on my wrist.
#3 Butterfly
My third tattoo is a butterfly, apart from being a very nice tattoo it has a beautiful meaning, because a butterfly means transformation, beauty and freedom. For me it means the struggle and the obstacles that life puts in our way, and how we adapt and come out victorious, as well as transforming us into better people. Also the freedom to make our own decisions. It is on the back of my left arm.
#4 Foot bracelet
My fourth and last tattoo up to this moment, is something very nice but that gathers several important elements for me. It is as if it were a bracelet for the foot, and among the elements it has are a dragonfly, which symbolizes hope; a crown that symbolizes independence and self-confidence, a heart because love is the greatest force in this world; a fishing rod in honor of my dad who is a fisherman; Peter Pan's hat, since it is one of my favorite books; a diamond that represents strength; a musical note since music is very important in my life and a feather, which apart from representing freedom came very nice with the design.

Couple tattoo
Of course I would love to get a tattoo with my husband, it would be something very nice that we could share, but my husband has never wanted to do it, as he agrees with my tattoos but it is not something he wants for himself. Clearly I respect his opinion and I would never force him to do it, but I would like him to change his mind in the future, anyway I love him very much, with or without tattoos.
Best friends tattoo
This is something my best friend and I have been talking about for a while, we both love tattoos and have plans to get one together to commemorate our friendship. We are still agreeing on the design, but I hope we can achieve this goal soon.
