Good night dear gems community, I want to share with you a beautiful tourist site of Lara State, called Manto de Maria, this is a Marian Monument, the highest in Venezuela and the world so far, has a height of over 60 meters, followed by the Monument to the Virgin of Peace in Trujillo, which has an approximate height of 45 meters. This monument is of kinetic art, here in Lara there are only places that are considered kinetic art, the first one is the one already mentioned and the second one is the Monument to the Sun located outside the C.C. Las Trinitarias.
Buenas noches apreciada comunidad de gems, quiero compartir con ustedes un hermoso sitio turístico del Estado Lara, llamado Manto de Maria, este es un Monumento Mariano, el mas alto de Venezuela y del mundo hasta ahora, tiene una altura de mas de 60 metros, seguido por el Monumento a la Virgen de la Paz en Trujillo, que tiene una altura aproximada de 45 metros. Este monumento es de arte cinético, aquí en Lara solo hay lugares que se consideran arte cinético, el primero es el ya mencionado y el segundo es el Monumento al Sol ubicado a las afueras del C.C Las trinitarias.
When you enter you go through a kind of spiral, which gives the attraction to the cinematic art./Al entrar se recorre una especie de espiral, que le da el atractivo al arte cinetico.
This place was built in 2016, in honor of the procession of the Divine Shepherdess, and was a gift for her that year, however it was so well adopted by the people that it became one of the main tourist attractions of Barquisimeto, many people from all the states of Venezuela have visited the Manto, either for religious reasons, or just for tourism.
Upon entering the monument, they explain how the history of Cholera was, the disease that plagued Barquisimeto, they explain why we make a procession every year to La Divina Pastoral, and if people know our history, they answer the questions, such as that Father Macario Ypez, offered to be the last victim of cholera as a promise to the patron saint of the Laroese, who later became ill and died, and this disease disappeared. Since that year, the image of the Virgin is carried in procession to the Cathedral of Barquisimeto accompanied by thousands of people.
Este lugar fue construido en el 2016, en honor a la procesión de la Divina Pastora, y fue un regalo para ella ese año, sin embargo fue tan bien adoptado por las personas que se convirtió en uno de los principales atractivos turísticos de Barquisimeto, muchas personas de todos los estados de Venezuela han visitado el Manto, ya sea por motivos religiosos, o por simple turismo.
Al entrar al monumento nos explican como fue la historia del Colera, enfermedad que azoto a Barquisimeto, explican por que hacemos una procesión todos los años a La Divina Pastoral, y si las personas conocen nuestra historia responden las preguntas, como por ejemplo que el Padre Macario Yepez, ofrecio ser la ultima victima del cólera como promesa a la patrona de los Larenses, posteriormente enfermo y murió, y esta enfermedad despareció. Desde ese año se lleva en procesión a la Catedral de Barquisimeto a la imagen de la virgen acompañada de miles de personas.
This monument, has 4 or 5 mesaninas (floors so to speak), I do not remember exactly how many, but in each table make us a stop and our guide, asks us a question and answer, as an example how many steps has the monument, what are the tubes made of? How many meters is the place, why is the entrance door not painted? And my favorite, how long are the tubes of the structure joined? And the answer is that it is approximately 7.2 km, joining all the tubes, which is the distance from Santa Rosa to the Cathedral of Barquisimeto.
Este monumento, cuenta con 4 o 5 mesaninas (pisos por así decirlo), no recuerdo exactamente cuantas, pero en cada mesasina hacernos una parada y nuestro guía, nos hace un preguntas y respuestas, como ejemplo ¿cuantos escalones tiene el monumento?, ¿de que están hechas los tubos?, ¿cuantos metros tiene el lugar?, ¿por que la puerta de la entrada no esta pintada? y mi favorita ¿Cuanto miden los tubos de la estructura unidos? y la respuesta es que tiene 7.2km aproximadamente, uniendo todos los tubos, que es la distancia que hay desde Santa Rosa a la Catedral de Barquisimeto.

After finishing the tour for each mesanina, we arrive at the terrace, from here you can see the cities of Barquisimeto, Cabudare and far away Yaritagua, here we are only allowed to stay half an hour, so we take advantage of every minute.
Luego de terminar el recorrido por cada mesanina, llegamos a la terraza, desde aquí se pueden observar las ciudades de Barquisimeto, Cabudare y muy a lo lejos Yaritagua, aquí solo nos permiten estar media hora, así que aprovechamos cada minuto.
Repeatedly in going to this place, we have the same route, and we have been hours here, always with my friends, although with different groups, on one occasion opened a zip line and I had the opportunity to throw, a week later was closed because a person died in she (I was terrified to see the news).
En repetidas ocasiones en ido a este lugar, hemos el mismo recorrido, y hemos estado horas aquí, siempre con mis amigos, aunque con grupos diferentes, en una oportunidad inauguraron una tirolina y tuve la oportunidad de tirarme, una semana después fue cerrada por que una persona murió en ella (me aterre al ver la noticia).
