Most of the world just discovered blockchain and they think it is fabulous, but where will it go?
Right now due to everything "blockchain" having a token, we call them all "Crypto-Currency, just as at one time companies that have a website were "Dot-coms". Currently though having a website is just part of having a business. In all likelihood in the future many companies will have a Blockchain - if there is a business case for it.
Due to the newness of the emerging technology of "Blockchain", it has created this interesting market of "Crypto" products. We spend time comparing Steem to PowerLedger - POWR, which makes no sense. One is a social media product with a currency attached. The other is a company with a vision on how to buy/sell and trade various forms of "Energy". It makes very little sense to compare them, except that they both issue tokens.
I believe we are at a point where businesses will buy or recreate the best ideas and integrate them into their current models. We are already seeing the beginning of that with Mark Zuckerburg talking about adding a crypto to Facebook.
What does that mean for SteemIt and POWR? Long-term it depends on how fast businesses integrate the power of the blockchain.
Right now we have an amazing opportunity, but don't think it is going to stay in the current confines as it grows.
Random Cryptic Thoughts.
If you haven't checked out the best minnow on SteemIt, she is and she is fabulous!
