When you are looking for a printer for your home or office there are only two types of printer to consider:

Ink-Jet Printer - usually better for home use

• small and light
• low initial cost
• easy to maintain
• good for color print
• slow print speed
• ink cartridges are expensive - for some brands, it's better to refill or buy a new printer
• supports different types of paper

Laser Printer - usually better for office use

• big and heavy
• big initial cost
• harder to maintain than the ink-jet printer
• good for text and simple graphics but not for detail and color-rich images
• very fast print speed
• toner is more cost efficient than ink
• toner leaks may cause a big mess

  The best printer for home use in my opinion
  If you are not printing a lot of files at the time, the ink-jet printer is probably better for you. My personal choice is this EPSON primarily because of the low cost of ink cartridges.

Advantages:

• reliable
• low initial cost
• low running cost CHECK INK COST
• copy, print, and fax
• Wi-Fi
• paper tray (150 sheets)
• double-sided printing
• automatic document feeder (30 sheets)

Disadvantages:

• noisy when printing
• slow print speed
• made of cheap plastic
• automatic feeder sometimes refuse to work until you change the paper config in the settings
• USB cable not included

  The best printer for office use in my opinion
  This SAMSUNG printer is not printing in colour but this was what I needed for my home office.
  If you are printing a lot of files at the time and don't need colour print this is probably the best printer for your office or home.

Advantages:

• reliable
• low initial cost for the laser printer
• low running cost CHECK TONER COST
• very good text print quality
• very fast print speed
• copy, print, and fax
• Wi-Fi and NFC
• Ethernet port
• paper tray (250 sheets)
• double-sided printing
• automatic document feeder (40 sheets)
• USB and telephone line cable included

Disadvantages:

• no colour print
• large
• only A4 paper size
