Valencia of Yesteryear
I have recently mentioned in a publication that, although I know that Black and White is a photography technique, for my personal definition they are a medium that tells a story. That is why I have decided to present you with these graphics in the aforementioned technique and at the same time I tell you part of the history that this site represents. In the mid-40s and 50s, Valencia was a city of many cinemas where practically all the Valencian parishes had at least one renowned one in the city and they keep a large number of anecdotes.
Among them we have the San Blas Cinema, located in the historic center of the parish with the same name, it received mainly the residents of the sector and represented one of the diversions of the time; According to the anecdotes told by the grandparents of the area, it worked from the 60's until the end of the 80's and as a curious fact they comment that many boxing movies were shown.
Today it is an abandoned building. However, in my opinion, its façade retains that air that in those decades and today we can say of the last century, was considered modern and avant-garde architecture.

Valencia de Antaño
Recientemente he mencionado en una publicación que, aunque conozco que el Blanco y Negro es una técnica de la fotografía, para mí definición personal son un medio que cuentan una historia. Es por ello, que he decidido presentarles estás gráficas en la técnica antes mencionada y al mismo tiempo les cuento parte de la historia que representa este sitio. A mediados de los años 40 y 50, Valencia era una ciudad de muchos cines donde prácticamente todas las parroquias valencianas contaban con al menos uno de renombre en la ciudad y que guardan gran cantidad de anécdotas.
Entre ellos tenemos El Cine San Blas, ubicado en el casco histórico de la parroquia con el mismo nombre, recibía principalmente a los pobladores del sector y representaba una de las diversiones de la época; de acuerdo a las anécdotas contada por los abuelos de la zona funcionó desde los años 60’s hasta finales de los 80's y como dato curioso comentan que pasaban muchas películas de boxeo.
Hoy día es una edificación abandonada. Sin embargo, según mi criterio, su fachada guarda ese aire que en aquellas décadas y en la actualidad podemos decir del siglo pasado, era considerado como arquitectura moderna y vanguardista.
