Kemudian para seniman lokal Yogyakarta menyulap Tebing itu menjadi karya seni yang indah. Para seniman itu memahat tebing-tebing berupa toko-toko pewayangan, anak tangga dan danau. Dana pembangunan awal Tebing Breksi tersebut berasal dari bantuan Pemerintah, melalui peran Gubernur Daerah Istimewah Yogyakarta.
