What’ Next?

As I lie down on my bed, struggling, thinking what next should I do? As days goes by, I knew I was getting older day by day. Am I doing enough for my family? Comparing myself to my other comrades, where do I stand? What have I achieved last year? What have I become? What more can I do to help my surroundings? What am I doing extra to help the needy? What am I going to do different this year?

This types of question has been playin in my mind the past few months. I was on the verge of getting retrenched as I have been working for the past 23 years. (or so I think 😅)

Whenever I am alone, I normally think alot. What else can I do? After working for more than 2 decades, I finally told myself... it is time to make a change. I am tired of making others richer than I am. I have been enslaving my time to make other men rich. Why can’t I be like them? Now is my time to create my own wealth....
....However, I was lost. I was lost what to do next? Do I venture into business? Even if I do, will i succeed? Will I be happy? How passionate am I going into business? I was actually thinking of opening a coffee shop, sitting in the coffee shop, and sit down like the taukeh in the “kedai kopi”.😆

I was looking high and low what business should I venture into. Should I venture into agriculture? (I love planting by the way) I did some research on it, and found out that I need to have big capital to start with. I was afraid to gamble my hard earn cash into something I was unsure of.

One fine evening, a friend came over to my house. It was after christmas, a few of them came over to my house to have some bbq, and some beers to celebrate christmas. It was then that I was introduce to steemit by Hive account@danieldoughty together Hive account@papanog, and another friend of ours Mr. Forterfield was having beer while playing darts and me doing the barbecuing. Everything when well, on that night as we were tipsy. We drank till 4am!! Hive account@danieldoughty and Hive account@papanog left at 3am!! Its was only me and Forterfield left drinking until 4am!! Luckily I was on leave....hehehe.

As I was doing the bbq’ing, I wasn’t really paying attention to what Hive account@danieldoughty was talking about, which led me into registering my steemit to a failure... HAHAHA...I first registered as Hive account@dwillyboy but because of my unattentiveness, I didn’t know the password would be soooooooooooooooooooo long after i got my approval. 😆. Eventually I did not save the password that was generated by the blockchain.
I only found out NOWthat Hive account@danieldoughty actually post about it on steemit. (Silaka)

I was amazed when Hive account@danieldoughty took a wefie photo of us drinking, he posted at steemit, and if I’m not mistaken, it paid like about 9.15 after only 10 minutes!! See here to believe. Drinking beer while steeming. Hahahaha!!!

Then as I learned more about steemit, this maybe the answer I was looking for. Do steemit for life. Part-time of full-time, it doesn’t matter. This is a great platform in helping the needy to make extra income. Now I have a clear goal. My goal now is to be a WHALE 🐳 🐋 by the end of this year. Anything is possible when you put your focus into it.
So now I’m constantly telling my family members and close friends about steemit. Many joined and some still waiting for their password.

I do come across those who were sceptical and just don’t believe steemit. I just put in my “I COULDN’T CARE LESS ATTITUDE” for those who thinks steemit is just another get-rich quick scheme. By staying here, I am proving them wrong. Steemit It’s more about giving back to the community, and helping the needy and self-enrichment for myself.

With steemit, all my earlier question answered. This is the best business I ever ventured into. Without a single dime, only brain power. *-(I hope my brain can keep up with it 😅)
