In the blockchain world, my quest for extra income online started precisely in November 2017. But before that (some years ago), I've already won - and still earned - an amount by answering surveys, paid-to-click sites and writing articles on various blogs.
Occasionally, on another day looking for other alternatives to make money online (in one of the various forums that I used to visit) I came across a comment from a user commenting on Steem / Steemit and that whole idea / concept - which is awesome! - interested me a lot (since I love writing and could make more money from it).
It wasn't long before I signed up and started using the site. Gradually I became familiar with all the tools available and always writing more and more, on the most diverse subjects (being Cinema the main one of them) and perfecting more and more my writing.
Unfortunately the values I have acquired are small, however, looking at my trajectory so far I don't give myself the right to complain (it's worth mentioning thanks in particular for some projects like ,
,
,
... just to name a few of them, but of course I thank all the users who have already helped me and still help), because everything I've already achieved has already helped me a lot to reach the final stretch of one of my big dreams: traveling to Australia, studying, working and making my life happen there!
P.S.: I'm still a little far from getting there, but I'm on the right track. This is the most important, because I'm saving all my money for this! :D
In the eyes of some people this may seem like a not-so-difficult goal, but since I'm Brazilian... Things get a little more challenging because there are a lot of rules for immigrants (for example, making it difficult to obtain a visa), but the main problem is directly related to the values required to go and stay there!
Here, using Steemit, my goal is much greater than any feeling of frustration (lack of interaction in the posts, as if I were writing for "nobody read" or devaluation of digital coins, for example) and with each new day, with a larger amount of money to receive , I become more hopeful in a better future.
I also like to emphasize that it was because of Steem (and all this virtual ecosystem) that I started to learn more about finance and also about the world of investments (I am so much curious to study a lot more about it) and apply this to my goals from the financial perspective. It's like a whole new world in front of me, haha!
Besides the financial part, I have a lot to thank Steem, because it was because of it that I met Steemit and so, I'm all this time here (and all the freedom of expression provided is simply amazing): acquiring knowledge, teaching the little things that I know, increasing even more my habit of writing - improving it day by day -, making new friends and getting to know new cultures (since this space has a worldwide reach).
In the real world, there are other obstacles (as well as in the life of any person who seeks to fulfill their dreams... you know it's never so easy to get there!), but my will to overcome is greater and more important than anything that happens to prevent it.
However, I think that a part of life is that, whoever was not born rich has to struggle to be able to make their own at all costs, honestly and have patience, strength of will, persistence and above all, faith that everything will work out in the end!
Last but not least... It's always important to remember that one of the ideas about Steemit is something like: "Come for the opportunity to make money, but stay - MAINLY- for everything you can learn from the community."... And that's exactly what happened to me!
