We were walking back to our campsite from our trekking adventure when we pass through a little vegetable garden in one of the sitio in the Island. I got attracted to this yellow flower, so I took a photo of it. Only when I saw its fruit and realized that it was a "patola flower". Patola is called "Chinese okra" in U.S and Canada. It's a sort of vegetables. Dried patola sometimes called "luffa" that is also being used as sponge and body scrub.
