I would like to share my experience with you: I finally did this, I sprouted my own mung bean sprouts for the first time! Bean sprouts are full of nutrients and have so much health benefits. It is full of fiber, can help reduce cholesterols and even cancer fighting. Make sure you water them every day, and before you consume make sure you rinse well in the water.

First step is to soak the beans.

One important thing is keep them in the dark environment because the sprouts will try to look for the light so they will grow longer.

I have been so careful everyday don’t expose them to the light as once they are exposed in the light they will turn red which will also affect the taste.

1 day ,2 day, 3 days pass by... I know patience is virtue....

Finally I think their legs are getting longer now...

Then I learned something else, I need to put something heavy on top so they will grow stronger and thicker...

Finally it’s been a week!! My babies are ready to be harvested !!!!
