As I watched this unknown species of snake slither off into the weeds I thought to myself, my goodness this place has seen better days. It's a junk yard run down abandoned day of exploration! Yippee. As I go around the island of Koh Phangan here in the Gulf of Thailand, if I see anything that screams covid catastrophe I go ahead and take a photo. Here we finish our exploration of the once happening Half Moon Festival, then we head up high to the Apichada look out view point and bar, then we head back low to an east cost beach to see what's left of the bungalows. Now come a long and lets see what's still here after all the business has dried up.
Here are the prices for how much they would charge to come and go to this huge jungle party. Prices range from 300 baht about 9 dollars to 2,000 baht private car for about 60 dollars. A ton of money and jobs have been lost just on this alone.

I think someone has broken their neck here before the signs came out.
